VALUE PROJECT SUBMISSION 25’

I’m so glad I was convinced to take part in this!! scouring op shops and then turning my finds into something new, was reminiscent of how I first taught myself to sew 🥺 it was also a need reminder of how far i’ve come … no doubt i decreased the value of some of my early op shop creations during my learning ‘process’ lol

I love that our creative community keeps expanding, and that I get to meet new faces and favourite people regularly, especially now that I’ve graduated and don’t have a uni routine to rely on socially.

This piece originally retailed for $100, was thrifted for $9, and ended up being auctioned for $110!

i had the best time collaborating on this design with my beautiful client and an even better time making it! go check out her account where she showcases her sick work !!! @its.baosi

i forget how forgiving denim can be and love how structured and strong the pieces are because of it! so excited to use it more in the new collection 🤞🏻

bad news is that our beloved green plaid has had its last run :( this is the price we pay for using found fabrics and that is okay !

good news is that the website has been updated with some new colour ways :) we have two beautiful cotton voiles from our very own @wearethefabricstore (pictured) as well as a dark green wool and beige check ⭐️

the base of our en garde dress will always be made in a mid weight cream drill 🫶🏻

keep your eye out for our ever changing colour ways and customise your own !

it’s her 21st tonight and we were honoured to be trusted by her to make a few custom pieces!

upon a few consultations we landed on a design featuring a mix of plaid and cow hide, i got started making and had a chance to test out working with leather for the first time.

we are both so happy with the final result and will be making limited variations of the skirt very soon!

now go wish her a happy birthday 🫵🏻🫵🏻
